Goblin beats the dirt off my character!

Hi! I give my character the dirt feature in the character creation, and during the beginning, a goblin beats me a few times with it's club weapon and I defeat them, my character loses the dirt feature I applied to it during the character creation. How do I get the dirt feature to reapply? I don't want to keep starting over or pay to keep the dirt feature. Thanks for reading taking the time out to read this. Love this game. Dirt will disappear if you get wet, but it will accumulate little by little after some times and it will max out at the dirt that you set your character with, you don’t have to pay the barber again.
