The map is so small?

Its only 2 major towns and thats it?
At the beginning it looked so big but in the end most of the areas are not reachable and its linear half circle that you journy from one big city, to checkpoint, to the next big city and then the mines. Thats it?

Ive been all over the map personally, trying to see every little area the game has to offer. While it is a decent sized map, im used to "spoiled" by MMO sized games which I shouldnt look at the map like that, but its hard not to. No negative, just a want for more because its so good lol.

40 hours in I didn't even enter the second country. The map size is fine.

The map is small, unfortunately. Large swats of land being tunnels is what kills it (and volcanic island is the grave offender of it)

This. Yes the map seems big but it's not. The areas you can actually travers is not that much.

Map size is pretty large and filled to the brim with entertainment and chaos, the likes of which can't be found in any other RPG.
