Up to you. If you'll have more fun restarting with nothing than go for it.
Even if DLC or expansion is in works, you won't see it anytime soon anyway.
Tells me people dont be doing jack diddly for completion, just bumrush story then come to the forums to cry about their gameplay styles ruining a game with a ton of stuff
That way my Pawn can provide his services while I wait for DLC.
Then theoretically when I come back my Pawn will have a ton of RC.
I had the same thought while trying NG+ so instead of doing that, I did a back-up of the savefiles of my first playthrough and started a new game from lvl 1. That was the right decision for me, because its more challenging now again and I'm enjoying it way more than NG+.
For me the trick was to create a "wayfarer" in my warfarer class - bow centric character with double spear as melee option (but without the OP shield). I stick to the Darkening bow and starting Spear's robes. Alternatively, you can seek lower lvl pawns.
Generally there's absolutely no challenge in the game after lvl 40, at least if you run with top tier gear and best party setups.
