How do I permanently kill an NPC?
When a guard attacks me, I defeat him and he lies there unconscious, later to awake. This is so stupid! I have read that there is perma-death for NPCs, but how? Fighting doesn't work.

Oh they die , if you leave them there and do not res them . The only one I know that does not die are key npcs . I even shot a unmaker arrow at the evil queen and she just gets up and comes at me to slap me . UHG ! I have dragged her out the castle , tossed her in the brine , used medusa's head to try to petrify her , used unmaker arrow on her and just about anything you can imagine and this Queen Disa just refuses to die . Her hp bar goes down but she is literally immortal ! I want to take my throne by force and ignore the politics . I slaughtered 55 guards + several nobles that got in my way to get to queen Disa and i was welcomed with a immortal Disa . Game will force me to take the political route . grrrrrrrrrr

He can die, however the game will just auto-generate another guard in 7 days. Throw him into the brine if you wanna be super sure.
