This game was rushed 100%. The same question you asked there I keep asking my self over and over again now that I have beaten the game. So many missed opportunities for epic questlines flushed down the drain for no reason. Only thing I can guess is that they didn't actually start development until much later than people are thinking. And that they didn't have much time to do anything. This game just feels unfinished to me.
It still feels like they cut 60% of the game lol. It's still a good game for what it is but I find it disappointing how it could've been better. I honestly think it is Itsuno's vision but with tons of compromises and a few missteps.
You only have to pay 300% for 100% of a game.
Welcome to 2024.
if talos dies into the lava you lose the interaction in the post game?
there is an achievement for killing talos fast.
there is also a major difference in the postgame depending on when/if you kill talos
IMO it was epic enough: you hear the entire world rumbling and can see a big thing chasing phaesus "for some reason."
I mean who's fault is it for running away from the giant without even trying to attack it? Or seeing the weakpoints? Just "nope out?" You have the entire world shaking, you DO have a quest to go to phaesus, and on the way there you see a cutscene with a massive giant coming out of the sea according to the crazy guy's ramblings, who's stuck full of the pawn controlling shard, and he's chasing phaesus?
And it's somehow not the gamers' fault to, i dunno, see if you can kill it or what it's doing?
fighting griffin was more exciting?

this is what you're saying is "more epic" than 95% First of all, it was a very epic moment in the game anyway. it's like saying "the grand finale was better than most of this game" (almost). But also, yeah, rose tinted glasses much?
