2. Equip sets of weapons, you just equip them in the order you want them to cycle in
So if you already maxed out say... Mystic Spearhand, and would like to keep playing as that, you can literally do that as a Warfarer, and gain XP for every single vocation. You have generally lower stats, but equipment balances that out... It's what I've been doing and I'm still OP as hell
Well THAT is a good reason then. I was already focusing on mastering every class anyway. Got 4 already at max but THIS changes thing. Guess I pick a mage staff as second weapon in there to fly / shield / heal IF needed.
I didn't really get the vocation from Lamond, it just opened itself in the end game. So I don't have the meister skill.
The guy at the Inn must have gotten sick of me going in and out of the vocation menu trying to figure out how to do it or where is the Rearmment skill XD
Like it is the main selling point of the vocation, but then it isn't readily available. Unless you go liquor hunting for an NPC, which I only managed to find one bottle in NG, and one was gifted to me too late in Unmoored world lol
They are so easy to find tho. But if you really can't find any other then just make copies at Ibrahim's Shop.
But yeah I was thinking of doing that in NG+
Warfarer is the best class in the game if you like to explore. Being able to switch to a staff to levitate without being locked in to playing sorcerer or mage is huge. Plus you can do insane combos like tarring with bow, switching to molten fury for a skyward sunder to ignite the enemy, and then swapping to daggers to shred the ♥♥♥♥ out of it. Plus you get DCP toward every vocation when playing as Warfarer so it lets you level up ♥♥♥♥ vocations like Trickster without having to play it. (Sorry if you actually like Trickster).
Look. After I wrote that I also only played Wayfarer. But not to switch skills. Only for the magic staff levitation and heal if needed.
I just spammed Thief's Skull Splitter and melted EVERYTHING.
I liked that you can level all vocations with it but the way they implemented the weapon switch was just dumb in my opinion.
can swap through 20+ skills at the press of a button.
