My Fighter pawn had 3x the health of a Mage pawn at the same level, and a strike that would take half HP from the mage would just tickle the Fighter
I wouldn't worry about it too much if you're playing a melee class, but on casters yes try to get a good bit, which you will most likely get anyways with 2 headpieces at the same time
It is possible to reduce all incoming harm to scratch damage if the armor value is high enough. 1 point can make the difference between taking damage and effectively nullifying it altogether.
That is not even accounting for the stat boosts that armor can give. It is possible to go without if one wants a greater challenge.
If you can't see your pawn's cleavage or ass people won't hire them
Fighter leans heavily towards defense and survivability to fit its role as a tank.
Well yeah, but there's a good benchmark to see how much defensive stats can help
And if you can bridge that gap by even half, then you should absolutely aim for it
Headless Horsemen can get you in a nasty stunlock where not having those defenses can be vital
