Blue quests mean your main pawn has knowledge of the quest
This is a confusing start. So sleeping any leads to endgame? Is "endgame" the quest?
But before you enter that last part of the game you can rest as much as you want.
Btw, I completed the game after 150 in game days. More than I thought lol
Still got as much time as you need or want, just don't run towards the sealed magic door and certainly not run past it. Other quests you have going might also have timers ofc. I failed the oxcart one for example cuz I took to long to report back.
the post game bosses are really the only meaningful source of wyrmlife crystals as far as I can tell, so even if you're in NG+ it's going to be really grindy to get enough to buy the gear he's offering.
You'll have a much easier time getting WLC during endgame though. I had like 500+ at the end, mainly used it to get some sweet gear for NG+.
