WARNING FOR ENDGAME. do not sleep too many times!
if you continue to sleep in the inn after reaching the true endgame eventually it will move time and you will then ''trigger a cutscene that says the game is ending and you couldnt stop it, so if you didnt finish up everything and explore everything in the endgame do so before sleeping too much in the inn for saves, or it will auto complete the game and put you into ng+ for you

I.....do not know how I feel about this. Forcing me to plow through content because of some stupid timer mechanic? This does not sound fun..

Sleeping is not the only way you can fail the quest, just by exploring and doing alternate things, as days pass by quests will start to turn blue as the stories progresses without you. My main quest turned blue because I was exploring a lot, so I started to focus on that to play catch up. Eventually I managed to shift it back to not failed. (i.e. not blue anymore)

Shorter quests will warn you if you on the cusp of getting the failed result. If you look at your quest list, the quest in question will be flickering between a normal quest icon and a blue quest icon. This is the indicator that you need to complete the quest ASAP.

Blue quests mean your main pawn has knowledge of the quest

Yea, OP really is, because I thought OP meant was the whole game from the start of the game, there was a time limit. Had me worried for a moment. Dude is terrible at communication in this instance.

what the hell do you mean... the TITLE literally says ''ENDGAME'' if you didnt figure out it wasnt the entire game i was talking about then your just dense o.O
"if you continue to sleep in the inn eventually it will move time and you will then ''trigger a cutscene that says the game is ending and you couldnt stop it..."
This is a confusing start. So sleeping any leads to endgame? Is "endgame" the quest?

You most likely aren't there yet, but you will 100% know when you are in the true endgame.
But before you enter that last part of the game you can rest as much as you want.

Btw, I completed the game after 150 in game days. More than I thought lol

What is quest that are endgame? When it's okay to sleep many time as you like and when it's not okay to sleep as you like?
Simbolic Mar 28, 2024 @ 6:17pm
That does not happen

With a single, aggressive autosave system combined with a mountain of "you shouldn't have done that" moments, half the actions in the game need a warning. Don't even get me started on the Sphinx.

I just gave drakecrystals to restore a certain sword we used to kill god in DD1/DDDA. Still time to explore?

Anything after the quest "Legacy". Maybe also during. I didn't exactly test sleeping for several days during it, but once was fine.

Still got as much time as you need or want, just don't run towards the sealed magic door and certainly not run past it. Other quests you have going might also have timers ofc. I failed the oxcart one for example cuz I took to long to report back.

the post game bosses are really the only meaningful source of wyrmlife crystals as far as I can tell, so even if you're in NG+ it's going to be really grindy to get enough to buy the gear he's offering.

Yes, in fact you could go to him from the beginning of the game if you skipped quests and went straight to Bakbatthal.
You'll have a much easier time getting WLC during endgame though. I had like 500+ at the end, mainly used it to get some sweet gear for NG+.
