i'm higher level though so maybe it's a backloaded thing
While - I do imaging we may get another one (likely bundled with any expansion that is planned), I feel like shouting at Capcom it's worth $5 alone could slide further into it being on DD3 as a $5 thing, other people then ♥♥♥♥♥ about.
It's certainly handy - and I used it plenty to go between BBI and Cassardis (I forgot there was another way at one point to even get there), though TBH I would have made it one of the rewards for beating the game (any % any ending - "you did the thing, now fly my pretties!")
Itsuno's vision likely ends at NG anyway, since I doubt he envisioned people juggling minotaurs and Death like chainsaws in 1 with Magic Archer and tackling Goreclops without even being hit (Door was the MVP in that one room with the 2 - you know the one I mean
Meanwhile, if it is an official DLC, then everyone can choose to use it, if they want to. And what keeps if from being a cheat, is that everyone has equal (albeit paid) access to it.
You bought the game, mod it as you please if you're not having fun with the fast travel. would you rather just be miserable or get a mod? Sounds like it's your friends problem for playing on a worse platform with no mod support...
Also, paying for something is more cheaty than modding imo. Modding is free and anyone can do it. Not everyone could get the dlc if they don't have any money, or if regional pricing is bad, etc.
As others have said, just mod some stones into the game. Sure, it's technically cheating but it's single player so who cares? If the difference is having fun and not having fun just mod the problem away.
I've modded some in and removed the weight of all items. Weight systems/Inventory limits just make games worse to me. I can deal with them if I have to but I will remove them if I can. Nothing destroys my immersion more than having to sit in menu screens juggling items around all the time. Makes the game less fun for me, simple as that, so I fix the problem.
