Capcom's "Official Pawns"

So I took their little survey thing yesterday. You know the one where they completely ignore that the game badly needs fixing and has a ton of flaws, and that their greedy behaviour has turned everyone against them and start asking how much money people want to spend on DLC...

And something stood out to me.
They dedicated a few questions to asking about "Official Pawns" and whether we were aware of them, had hired them, etc.
Obviously I answered as honestly as I could:

"Yes, Capcom, I'm aware of your Official Pawns."
"No, Capcom, I've not hired them."
"No, it isn't because I'm not aware of them. It is because they're vanilla-arse pieces of trash that are beneath my notice. They are inherently unworthy of being hired by me."

... That aside, is there ever any reason whatsoever why anyone should bother with Capcom's legion of walking sewage?

I do own the game.
This is just my 2nd account. Because I wanted more pawns for DD1, as it happens. It works just as well for DD2.
And the proof is in that I haven't marked you two with Clown awards for your foolishness, as my Steam points are on my main account.

I'm surprised no one has yet to correct anyone who said "its for offline players".

What Capcom labels as "Official Pawns" cannot be used offline.

Let me repeat: what Capcom labels as "Official Pawns" cannot be used offline.

You can easily see this for yourself. Turn network settings to offline. Go into the Vernworth rift. Touch the riftstone. Click on "View Unique Pawns". On the next menu the "View Official Pawns" is greyed out.

For people that don't understand: The Capcom survey isn't referring to Capcom pawns as "Official Pawns". The survey is referring to influencer pawns as "Official Pawns".

Actually, funnily enough, I just did that Sphinx riddle, and it turns out it isn't one of the Official Pawns at all, nor even one of Capcom's own pawns. It is just a Moniker that can be chosen when making the pawn. I never checked through all the Moniker options when making my own pawn, but I suspect it is in the list.
SO the pawn I hired for the Sphinx's Riddle was just some other player's pawn.

Oh, I think this make them unique, but I prefer player pawns. In their survey which they asked about them I answer honest -No, I didn’t know such a thing existed- I never hired them. I am not a person which follow some streamer and If I get that right here this are streamer pawns. I hired capcoms offline pawns sometimes if I get them from the forgotten riftstones.
