More, the arisen getting transformed into abominations was akin to the apostles made through the behelits. With the player's own being as huge as the Eclipse. Daimon in particular looked similar to Zodd, and the trolls to various demons\apostles.
Aelinore is similar to Princess Charlotte. Also the duke of Gran Soren was soemthing of the King of Midland.
At the beginning of D1 you see the Hydra and Cyclops with a special mark on their head. That is bascially the upside down Brand of Sacrifice.
Lord Julian reminds me of Julius, that guy that got assassinated by Guts
