Getting fighter master skill?

I read that Lennart gives you the Righteous Fury skill after completing the "Readvent Calamity" questline but all he says in Melve is "Tis good to know that Ulrika is safe blah blah blah". Tried resting on a bench and letting time pass. Not sure what else to do.

i have the same Problem. Cant give him gifts or Whatever. Just never got the Skill from him

try switching to fighter vocation temporarily and talk to him..

you get it after dealing with the drake at melve, talk to him and he gives you the skill (maybe try being a fighter like the other comment said)

Did you max out the fighter vocation or your pawn?

You will need to raise affinity with him, finishing his questline should be enough. If not, there are repeatable escort quests that you can do to get more.

According to most guides out there, fighting the dragon in Melve is enough to get it from him, regardless of affinity. I completed Ulrika's questline and talked to him multiple times without success. No idea what else to do.

did you master the fighter vocation? I am pretty sure either your pawn or you have to have max in a vocation for the maister to give you the skill.

false, i have restarted the game like 3 times at this point, everytime i did the drake fight in melve i was barely level 4 vocation fighter (i always did this quest very early on), and everytime i got the skill by just talking to him after the fight

If you dont get the dragon fight pop he wont give it to you and cant do Ulrikas quest. It sucks but oh well. At least its early game. Easy done in ngplus

If you do too many Main quests the dragon fight wont trigger.

Ill try to give them gifts and see if it helps
Atm not bothered tho, prolly just get in ng plus. Romanced wilhelmina. Prolly the better romance of the 2 anyway. Tho I prefer Ulrika as wifu material

You can even get it before that happen, What i do is that I gave bunch of flower gift to Ulrika one per day, I think I did that 3 time bunch of flower to her 3 day at least (it's only work one gift per day to rise it up or so they said, second gift to her on same day might get you nothing, I'm not sure)

I suspect that make Lennart happy too, since he did said Ulrika as his daughter, so I guess that's make Lennart happy when I gave Ulrika bunch of flower as I try do long term goal woo her) that's I do end up get early than I though,

First time try I did get like that, but I had trouble try gave her bunch of flower, there is no gift option, so I did quit, delete game, and start over, yet careful not to rush quest, slowly, hopeful allowed me to gift her gift before futher quest lock her gift options, that's what surprised me that I got early and I had very, very suspect that had to do with gift bunch of flower to Ulrika.

You had to be very careful with quest thing, don't even talk to Brant at INN for main quest just yet otherwise it's would locked her gift option.

Just go with solder to vernworth, see brant at a gate, gate house, but not talk to him at night in INN. then go back, that is where her gift option is unlock till that main quest start, then see Lennart after bunch of gift to Ulrika, or you could gift to him with something but I had not test with that. I only did with Ulrika, then talk to Lennart, then he gave it to me. I was a fighter at a time.

Ah OK, I guess I assumed you or your pawn needed to master the vocation because of him talking about needing to impress him. All the master skills I have gotten so far are for a vocation that either I or my pawn maxed out, so I was assuming that. I shouldn't have done that, Dragons Dogma 2 has enough misinformation being spread around.
