Does the Sphinx know what a riddle is?

1) Bring me the most valuable thing in the cave. Sure. It's got a trick to it. I wouldn't call it a riddle, but fine.

2) Bring me your boyfriend. Not a riddle.

3) Find my parent. Sure.

4) Give me your most prized possession. There are a lot of guys hiding out along the road that also give you this riddle.

5) First seeker token. Not a riddle.

6) Hide and seek. Not a riddle.

7) Find this random guy. Not a riddle.

Someone needs to send this girl back to sphinx school.

This just isn't a riddle. It's a memory test. What's being asked for is immediately obvious even if a lot of people don't remember.

"Find where the sphinx has gone"

Again, this just isn't what a riddle is.

Just showing you a picture of a person and asking you to find them.

Just what it says right on the tin.

Bring a vase to a guy without breaking it.

My local fedex solves tens of thousands of these riddles every day

Not a riddle.

Wisdom is the only proper riddle, even if it is based on something your character in universe wouldn't have knowledge of. Eyes is riddle-like but an extremely weak one in context.

Not so much riddles as she just likes to speak in rhymes. It seems to me that she dumbs down her would-be riddles

only the find first seeker token is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the rest are okay since i failed that one even after searching and backtracking a 80h game play for all first first seeker token and it will be okay if it has not a timed quest since 7 days you will make about 3-4 days whit carts and by foot to get back really disappointing

But they're not riddles! Even the seeker token one, she just tells you exactly what to do. Remembering where you found your first token is not solving a riddle and there isn't a riddle you can solve to find the answer.

yeah that is true but the rest kinda seems okay if you do them whitout guide like me and play blind since i dont want spoilers but i will need do a ng+ for the quest

Yeah you could solve them all by simply following her instructions, but some of them had alternate ways to solve them easier, which is kinda riddle like i guess.

I get it "riddles" but cmon they are just fetch quests in disguise and this game really didnt need more of those kinda quests.

Are you saying that japanese people don't know what a riddle is? Because the RIddle of Contest is just having you fight a guy. If it's not a riddle in Japanese than saying their culture is different isn't really relevant.
