Stuck loading save file

I cannot load my save file, its just stuck in the loading screen.
I literally put the game down a couple hours ago, everything was fine. I just got to Battal city, and left it there.
Its been ages since i slept in an inn, it would be extremely annoying to lose that many hours of progress because of a random bug.
Tried restarting steam and the PC, didnt work.
Anyone else having this issue? if you know a solution please let me know.

After 30 minutes and many tries, its still stuck loading.
Just to clarify, i've seen people having an error "failed to load data" or whatever. That's not what is happening.
The game is trying to load but its stuck. Task manager shows its doing something or at least consuming resources.
As i read in other forums, pressing load from inn will DELETE the save file. So i dont want to do it even for testing purposes.
Im leaving it open hoping for a miracle to happen.
Tomorrow i'll check if it doesnt work guess i will have to load from last inn but that really sucks.

Make a backup copy of your saves then Load from Inn. If everything's fine, then Load last save and hopefully it works.

The problem MAY be something went wrong while making the save file. This is why I manually backup the saves every few hours (and yes, there already IS a mod for this).

Well...

After doing some backups and loading from last inn, the game works.

Now the annoying part, even after pasting the old backup the game only allows me to load from that inn save, i dont have the option to continue as normal anymore.

Seriously CAPCOM, why not allow for multiple save files? It would have been much easier to fix this crap. Its ridiculous frankly.

When you say slow loading , does the game loading bar load at all, i'm having the same problem its just that the bar is slowly filling up.

Bump; having the same issue. Game will launch; loading bar goes to 100%; game will not load.

this is messed up...
i am stuck on the loading Bar when i try to load my last save
but there is now issue loading from last Inn and also no issue loading the save i do after that

but when i try to use my original that i made a back up from it is still stuck

i tried multiple solutions like the whole start as admin BS which funnily enough wrecked performance "the F"

i am out of idea's and i hate the Idea losing hours of gameplay and 3 level ups "at 50"
