However, I've found two real copies of Nation's Death Knell so far, as well as an NPC that will trade one grimoire for another on the list. I believe she wanted a Fulminous Shield and offered a Howling Blizzard.
You might be able to give that NPC a forgery to get a real grimoire.
Edit: What I'm trying to convey is: You might not be totally screwed. There may be more originals out there
Also, Locations:
Nation's Death Knell: Inside the castle of the Ancient Battleground N/W of Checkpoint Rest Town AND in the Waterfall Cave, which is the cave entrance where your Griffin Taxi crashed after the intro (prepare for a fight)
Grimoire trader: One of the NPCs in the Nameless Village
Anyone find copies of Fulminous Shield, Towering Earth, Let There Be Light?
yup did that, I have a real copy of Death Knell and Howling blizzard...just need one more but cant find anything about a copy of the others.
I'd also like to mention that there are two copies of Nation's Death Knell and at least three copies of Howling Blizzard with one of those three being a unfavourable trade in Nameless Village for Fulminous Shield but I've not tested forgeries, this last part is purely based on my experiences in acquiring the tomes.
Turquoise Ring
After second part of the questline:
Conjurer's Jottings (Meteoron), Cast Stone (Mage staff)
also Enchanter's Almanac (Celestial Paean) (from her granny).
So if you've done that and don't want to get locked out of two mesiter spells, the best way to get these back would be a mod. Or a NG+ run I guess.
