How to unlock Sorcerer?

I accidentally sold the grievous horns arch staff to unlock the vocation. How can I finish the quest and unlock the vocation?

it shouldn't lock you out completely. you'd probably just have to wait until you make it to the next city area where you can buy another weapon

I've never tried either of these, so i cant really confirm whether they work or not but, maybe see if you can: Buy the staff back, if you remember to whom you sold it to or see if the forger has it, under special items. Forger is in Checkpoint Rest Town.

There is a merchant at the border town of Bathal and Vernon (whatever the cities names are) who will sell you items that you've sold to merchants in the past. You could possibly buy the stave staff back from him, or purchase the new staff the armorer in that town sells.

The elf town has sorc staves so does the border town

any other sorc stave works. I never found the quest one, I just bought one later.

Sorcerer is probably the worst class in the game IMO. The spells take so long to cast that the very moderate amount of damage they do and the complete lack of utility of the class makes it a definite D-rank.

The class is very useful to master - I'm raising it right now for .. reasons I won't reveal.
