I'm an idiot - Sold Towering Earth and need a replacement....

I sell mage books by default because as a warrior I don't use them, but now I apparently can't do the mage quest. Would someone be able to gift me Towering Earth? I could also use all the other books but Nation's Death Knell if you all felt like being super generous, just to save me a walk, but Towering Earth is the main one.

If it's the guy rescue in the jail. You also need to do other part of a chain quest in the slums. Have to find a kid that ends up leading you down the broken tower that gets open once you talk to ppl. Than you find hidden library. If he hasn't left jail yet after go around and pick all books etc up. Go back to jail and talk to him and than you can escape. He will leave after getting outside.
Than head to the slums and into the underground area of library. Than you see him there and his there.

I've unlocked every ultimate skill in the game and unfortunately some were hard to get. Make sure you have bunches of flowers for some to get some rep with some of them. Some of them you need to do extra step once get rep up and do a escort than go back to them and than get item instead of just getting it.
All depends if you didn't do a side quest etc before.

Maybe I should just issue an announcement that nobody should ever sell anything in any RPG.

It isn't strictly true, but if people can't be relied upon to know what they should or shouldn't sell then it would be better not to sell anything.

I haven't sold one item in this game or first game. I horde everything :). Plus gold is easy to get without it

he gave me the book after i was on the quest to get it, if u havent picked up the quest first maybe he doesn't know you're after it and then doesnt give it to you? in the end you only need 3 books anyways tho so it's not a big deal and theres enough copies in the world you can give both quest npc's real versions and complete them and can skip this book entirely.

You only need 3 books total to do both quests. You can make forgeries of 3 books, give them to the guy, then give 3 originals to the girl. Both quests complete with full rewards at 3/5 books

I can make forgeries for other people too if needed. All of them except 'towering earth' as that's the one I turned in before i realized there were two quest lines.

Luckily we only need to turn in three grimoires it seems, tho the girl will need the real copies.

P.s Does anyone know its possible to give items and then reload to the last inn rest? Could be away for people to get the authentic copies they need

Pro tip anything critcal to quests can be found after a day at the Scrap dealer found at the boarder checkpoint town. Just will a bit of a mark up.

it is pretty weak tho. the silence book is great and the enchants can be cool but otherwise eh. i tried the meteoron book on a drake once and it was suuuuper weak nowhere near what the actual spell is.
