I'm an idiot - Sold Towering Earth and need a replacement....

I sell mage books by default because as a warrior I don't use them, but now I apparently can't do the mage quest. Would someone be able to gift me Towering Earth? I could also use all the other books but Nation's Death Knell if you all felt like being super generous, just to save me a walk, but Towering Earth is the main one.

There's multiple Towering Earths. Multiple of most of the others, too. I'm almost certain there's multiple of all of them, but I can't confirm until I find the last one.

Check the forgery store in Checkpoint Rest, quest-related items that you sold end up there in "special finds" menu.

Also make a forgery of it straight away, you will need a second copy too

You can't use forgeries for the girl I think. Or else she wan't learn the magick to give you meteoron. Though I could be wrong.

I have nations death knell if you want to give him a forged copy and I can probably do that. Though their are multiple copies on the map.

I haven't tried this myself bc I had a feeling you needed to hang onto them... But have you tried the junk store at checkpoint town? It recovers quest items for you in case you lost them (for a premium)

Yeah I found duplicates of some of them as well and im betting there are dupes of the ones i havent found dupes of yet too.

I can make forgeries for other people too if needed. All of them except 'towering earth' as that's the one I turned in before i realized there were two quest lines.

Luckily we only need to turn in three grimoires it seems, tho the girl will need the real copies.

P.s Does anyone know its possible to give items and then reload to the last inn rest? Could be away for people to get the authentic copies they need

if you sold item you should be able to buy it from forgery guy. any items that normally for quests will go to his selling items.

This is depressing, i have done every conceivable thing to try and trigger to get this dam towering earth book. finished the main quest to get him out of jail, did a few other things to get his dam monocle. he just refuses to give me the book. iv checked the forgeries for special good.
