New Game +
So I completed the game and "endgame" content. Started new game + and now am just running around one shotting everything, is there no difficulty scaling? Am I missing something, whats the point of new game plus if the enemies dont get harder

No scaling atm. Good ol' Crapcom releasing half-baked products for premium price

just start a new game mate. delete your save, disable steam cloud saves for dd2 and you are good to go

To do quests you may have missed, level up any vocations you didn't master, play it again for funsies?

There's no Bitterblack Isle yet to crush your balls to dust, so this is all you get for now.

I guess we just have to rely on mods to make the game harder for new game + then? Lol

Now you have knowledge of the questlines so you can get abilities you missed, keep npcs alive that died on your first run and choose optimal quest endings. Collect trinkets. Get bored. Stop playing until new content comes out. And have fun.

Doing side quest you missed the first time, explore missing dungeons, picking different choices to see different results for your quest, turn your pawn into the ultimate pawn, etc...

well you have either the choice between them and developers that are far worse than them. anyone with a sound mind will obviously choose bad when the alternative is worse.

we need to wait up until ai significantly streamlines game development and we might see some excellent indie games. think of kenshi but without all the bugs crashes etc.

Ye did same, see no point to play through it again when no difference or challenge
Too much work for them lmao it'll be a 10 bucks dlc

You can try and master other vocations and skills, since this has way more options in gameplay than just rolling around and poking at enemies feet. 😅

honestly no clue what they thought when they made no endgame or ng+ scaling/new content
Panda Mar 26, 2024 @ 4:20pm

Many-Named Mar 26, 2024 @ 4:20pm

I assume Hard Mode is in the works.

I'll keep my character for then and do his NG+ when that comes out.

Then they will probably add a Bitterblack Isle equivalent like the first game that will crush our souls.

And after the hard dlc, there will be speedrun dlc
