Frame Generation get worse?
So i've been playing with frame generation mod on my 4070 ti since the mod was released and at the maxed setting with out DLSS had aroud 120-130 fps ANY WHERE. After the update they've built in frame generation in the game and i barely getting 70 outside of the city with FG on and around 55-60 with FG off. W T F? Anyone else noticed this or am i doing something wrong?

Framegeneration literally doubles your native fps.
Could be that you don't have the correct dll files, aka you have to delete all of them and verify the game to download them again.
I hope you also didn't disable HAGS at some point, hardware accelerated gpu scheduling in your windows, that is also needed for framegen.
And gpu drivers need to be latest version or whatever the framegen needs.

Dll files that you need for framegen to work, and they need to be all the same version. modded one uses 2.2.1.0, original uses 2.4.0.0

sl.reflex.dll
sl.dlss.dll
sl.dlls_g.dll
sl.interposer.dll
sl.common.dll

the nvngx_dlssg.dll file you can change to whatever you want, non original versions might cause ghosting artifacts.

If you change the interposer one to the modded one, you also have to make sure other files are same version. Someone uploaded on nexus in posts for puredark 2 framegen all the files needed for the newest game version.

I went back to old framegeneration the modded one, so I could turn off dlss while still have framegeneration on, but you have to also have the other dll files for it to work, also you need a slightly older reframework mod if you want to use that with the old framegen.

Just use the modded framegeneration, enable dlss and reflex+boost save, then disable dlss, also max out image quality setting and enable dynamic resolution instead. You will get almost the same fps gain as using dlss, but the resolution stays basically native and doesn't look blurry, and if fps changes the resolution won't change.

This is exactly what i want to do. I do not want to use DLSS, but FG only. What mod are you using?

Puredark 2, check from nexus, under dragon's dogma 2, search for dlss or puredark.
And check the posts, there is a link there to download all files, no need to download the mod, it won't work without the other files.

No.
You just enable the dlss, save, then disable dlss and save. Ignore the framegen option in the game, and you can test if framegen works with "End" button on the keyboard, disable and enable, if framegen is working.

Use 958 or earlier.

I cant seem to get it working. If i use the mod manager, the game wont start. If i turn off all the mods and just put the files in the game folder it does nothing.

If you use the mod manager you have to make sure in the zip file so that the files are there outside the folder. Not inside the folder, as that game exe file won't find the dll files otherwise.

Also did you download the multiple dll file download, don't use the mod itself, it has only interposer.

I found the multiple files in the comment section, but i thought you had to leave the downloaded files zipped then add the the manager?

The zip file is not mod friendly, because the files are in a folder inside the zip file, so for fluffy mod manager you have to redo the zip file.
Just drag the files outside and drop them inside the zip file again and then delete the folder in the zip file and re-add it through fluffy mod manager.
And re-add reframework too, also I delete everything in reframework mod file, I only leave dinput8.dll file there. I use the dd2 zip file from 958 version, I get the reframework from github, not from nexus.
