New Nvidia driver helped a LOT!
Update dropped sometime last night or this morning, I did that and ran the ''optimize game'' feature. It's running buttery now, even in in the city. It's not perfect yet but it's much better, at least on my end. Give it a shot if you haven't seen the new update yet.

it's unacceptable that they haven't added frame gen in officially
when I try to use the "fix" since 2 patches ago it doesn't launch.

for a game that runs this poorly, not having frame gen kills it. I am not playing until it's in. who knows how long that will be.

didn't notice any changes. wilderness fps is fine, towns are still debatable.
Optimize just sets your game settings to match what your PC is capable of, basically you just lowered your graphics to get the game running better, the game still has issues in towns no matter how well your game runs.

Surely a "placebo effect". Latest driver was released 5 days ago btw.

You would think so, I guess. But you would also be wrong. I already had my settings lower than what the optimize recommended, it actually increased the ''memory load'' by turning the DLSS back on and taking me from ''low to mid'' in many cases.

don't be a trole

So I guess yours still runs like butt? That's a shame...
i get down to low 40's if you move around fast in town, otherwise solid 60 fps everywhere. your guys pc's might not be optimized im playing on a laptop with an hdmi to a big screen
the driver didnt change ♥♥♥♥ btw just settings for games
now to have a suitable framerate we have to use fake frame and dlss for a game that looks like a ps3 game...

what a shame

Just like opinions, I'm sure there are a ton of different hardware configurations people find themselves using. At least for me I saw a slight improvement with mine. I hope everyone who bought it gets a little bit of relief in the performance dept. too.
