Hot Springs on Hired Pawns
If I hire a pawn that needs a bath, and I take her to the hot springs, will she appear clean when she is returned to her master?

No. Pawn's master must bathe her in his world to remove scars.

Jon makes a good point. He may be right, but if a pawn is hired by multiple people, and one gives her a bath and the other lets her get beat up and returns her with scars, we wouldn't be able to confirm this,

The hired pawn returns to its player/creator just as it is in their game, not in yours. It shows up initially in your game as it is in the creator's game the last time the creator saved at an inn.

If you hire a scarred up pawn and heal them at the VI Hot Springs, they will look pristine in your game, but stay scarred up in the creator's game, even upon return and an inn synch.

Same goes for Dragonsplague. A hired pawn can get DP in your game, but if you yeet/dismiss them, they will not be infected upon return to their creator's game. That's why you can dismiss and immediately rehire to cure DP in hired pawns. Throwing a hired pawn into the brine doesn't really do anything other than dismiss them "with prejudice".

The caveat - if you have a hired pawn that is infected in the player/creator game, when you dismiss and rehire them, they will still be infected.

No reason the scar will still be there since if a pawn can accumulate knowledge from beyond the rift and also can get infected with dragonplague from beyond the rift and brought back the illness when they returned to their owners,
That doesn't happen. Dragonsplague can't be contracted by your pawn in another world. Only in your own.

It happened to my main pawn so many times than I can count in my long playtime because I am a very careful person who hire very carefully & watch for DP signs all the time. Preventing Dp in my party is always my top priority when I was playing this game. But believe what u want because I know people only listen to influencers or people they like whether the info is true or not. I finished with this game already & no longer want to get into unnecessary argument when trying to share my knowledge.
I can confirm you are mistaken. I've purposefully given my own alt pawn Dragonsplague and returned it while infected and he did not come back with the plague.
