stuck at Battahl capital

So yeah the story is, I arrived at checkpoint gate Battahl where you need permit to enter right. I use this guy trick where you use oxcart to pass the security guard. Then, after I done freeroam in Battahl city I wanna go back to Vernworth but the checkpoint gate won't open. Also I can't use same trick to deceive the security guard since the oxcart in Battahl is out service due to monster attack.. now I'm stuck here. I'm play only 15 hours so I barely know this world game work.

Question is, does any way out from Battahl other than through checkpoint gate. Please help me 😭

Guerco cavern is the only way. There is an easier way provided you did not forgot to activate the vernworth portcrystal when u arrived in vernworth in your ng+ which i forgot during my third ng+. If u do, then just use a ferry stone and u are back to vernworth

I think if someone hires your pawn it is possible for them to gift you a permit, but... I doubt anyone will do that unless they are about to go into NG+ and can afford to lose time resting at an inn.

Yes, good idea!. Ask your friend to gift you either the residential permit or the border permit he got from the arisen shadow quest via your pawn. Your friend only need 1 to stay in battahl unmolested. I think he can also forged that permit via ibrahim in checkpoint town, then gift that to you. After that once u get pass the checkpoint town, u can hire your friend's pawn and gift back to him if you want to. I still feel the best way is to activate the vernworth fixed portcrystal and just overcome this problem with a ferrystone.

There is also one more way. Just stay near the gate after a new day. When you see the gate open for the oxcart to pass through, run through it all the way till u are far away out of checkpoint town. The guards will chase u but just ignore them as well as any of your pawns that decide to stay and fight. Since u get into that area illegally, i suggest u stand at an area near the trader far from the gate and move away when a guard approach. Run through when the gate open. it won't close so fast due to the oxcart passing through. The cart will pass through the gate once per day.

much appreciate for all of you guys helping me. I did wait at front gate but no luck for me. So the only way out is through Guerco Cavern. It took me many hours to level up, gather and sold items materials loot to make money before head to Guerco since my party weak and poor asf. I buy new gear, obtain new skill also portcrystal XD. thank you everyone much love.

The easiest way to find your way to Vornworth or Battal is to make a quest active in Vornworth or Battal, then enter the rift and hire a pawn with knowledge of the quest - there is such an option when selecting pawns. The pawn will take you the shortest route to the desired location.
