If you look at the archer video , when he charges his shot and knocks down the minotaur, he's using a hydra bow.

Sadly the Hydra and the Cockatrice alike, along with some other monsters from DD1 have been removed or not even added to DD2, due to Capcom being lazy.

That is a shame if true but if is never know could get a bbi style dlc for this game down the line with maybe past or old monsters.
