That being said if someone is looking to save money now on it I highly recommend Green Man Gaming and see if they will offer any codes for this. You can get a decent deal there.
So the retail cost is the same as an average monthly salary in my country. I'm not exactly poor but I have Diablo 4 and Black Desert Online to play every evening already (not to mention Helldivers 2 and Palworld) so I'll just wait for 50-75% discount on the game
Have you ever seen any Square Enix game? Or Bandai Namco game? The Japanese devs charge roughly the same price for all their AAA games. Chances are, people will still buy it.
Dragons Dogma is charged at £53.98
Final Fantasy 7 part 1 - £69.99
Street Fighter 6 - £49.99
Resident Evil 4 - £49.99 (At launch)
Monster Hunter World - £49.99 (At launch)
£4 is barely a difference, suck it up.
70$ is only a scam if the game isn't worth it.
Most code sites get their codes thru Ill gotten means, and the developer loses money on the purchase entirely. Seriously I get it's pricy but wait for a sale dont encourage the use of practically pirate sites.
That said, I think DD had enough content fmto pay for both games honestly I have so many more hours on PS4 then I do PC and I still have a good bit of hours on PC
