It's an amazing game. I don't know what type of games you like but this is one of the greatest fantasy action-adventure party based RPG games I've ever played honestly. Yes the game performs terribly but mostly in the cities which I can handle lower fps just perusing the shops and upgrading my skills. While in combat it seems to run quite smooth.

if you want to rush the main quest and finish the game quickly, don't buy it. if you want to enjoy an exploration, fight monsters along the way, like skyrim, buy it.
just be minded that if you feel stuck like wanting more money (for buying ferrystone), guide on youtube can always help you.

Game is great.

There have been some performance issues for some people. Those issues do need addressed. I've not had any issues though.

The microtransactions are typical Capcom nonsense that you would never need to buy in a million years, so they are a total nothing burger.

Maybe watch some gameplay and see what you think yourself. Only you really know whether you'd like the game or not.

Most the "it's a scam" people are trolls or people upset that they are selling dlc that mind you, YOU CAN FARM WITHIN THE FRIGGING GAME. performance issues do seem to be a thing for some users but personally aside from the long ass first load due to shadow catch compile I have had zero issues that effect game play. (Have had a few floating objects) Just don't try running the game on specs your PC can't handle.

I quite enjoy the game and have a lot of time on it, not even done with msq cause I'm exploring and doing side content.

And the wayferer class is perfect for me cause I can never pick a class LMAO.

This game is unique. If you dont have the time to invest in learning the mechanics and complex skills etc. and just want a quick shoot em up, then its not for you. If you want a game that is full of such fun as being able to climb onto the enemies, learn their weaknesses and are a fan of old school rpgs then this is for you. Some of the experiences with your pawns are hilarious, battle is often chaotic and exciting and the quests are as obscure as any Fromsoftware game. I love souls likes--- this is NOT a souls like game. There is no lock on and you have to learn to aim well. The combat is unique and always exciting as it is different every time. There is no dodge roll so get ready to use thought and strategy and tactics as well as the environment ( yes you can throw rocks at the enemies or roll big boulders on top of them) This game is not perfect, no game is, BUT despite the contoversy over micro transactions (which is NOT the game devs fault) and the sometimes stuttery graphics, THIS s my game of the year so far........ until the shadow of th erdtree at least!

i7 and an RTX 2080. game is smooth. I had crashing on the demo character creator but after rolling back graphic drivers I've had zero issue whatoever.

First game only had 1 save file too. Cry about it. They are also patching in a new game option.

Every Capcom game released in the recent past has had Denuvo. What were you expecting?
Games these days seem to be adding in aggressive anti cheat. While many don't like it, it's really common.

False. An in game item that allows you to edit your character is sold as an MTX, but that same item is available to buy in game for incredibly cheap. There is no reason to buy it from the MTX store.

You'll just get people talking about the extreme good or extreme bad.

Are you ok with the price tag and it won't financially hurt you? I say go for it as long as you understand what the game play is. Yeah it has a cash shop but I never looked at what is offered in it and have beaten the game with no issue or need of one. If that is what you mean by "Scam" for the financial reasons. If you feel mixed about the pricing or game play then hold off and wait for a sale.

It's a good game with performance issues and micro transactions (which aren't even a big deal, I haven't felt the need to buy any of them). So no it is not a scam. As for the price...you can get it on key sites for less than $50.

It's amazing that they are charging for fast travel and player cosmetics. There's no reason to buy this turd.

People are saying they are spending $70 and beating it in 25 hours or less. HUGE red flag, right there.

Good game with insanely bad performance issues, like you can have like 70-90 fps in the wilderness areas, then towns will drop you to 20-30 fps mostly on the 20 fps side.

It's not a scam, some people just can't read or understand anything even if their life depended on it.

The game does have performance problems and some people have experienced multiple crashes. I've only had 1 crash so far but do have performance problems in big cities.

You could wait for them to release the first patch and see how well it does before committing to it.

Already have 20 hours and I wish I had at least one week off work to enjoy it more.
