Guardian Gigantus main quest game breaking bug

I killed the guardian infront of the village and then proceeded to go to the tower. Got the cutscene of Phaseus and his group entering the tower. After reaching the bottom floor, the NPC Henrique doesnt appear + I cant interact with the elevator. What now? Note: I checked the Battahl Morgue and Henrique is not there.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I've explored around and waited a couple days hoping it would have fixed itself by the time I come back... but nope :((

I'm in the exact same situation. Defeated the Gigantus before it reached Volcanic Island Camp. The achievement, "Gigantus, I Hardly Knew Ye" did not pop. Probably a related issue. Cannot interact with the object at the bottom of Moonglint Tower. On my save file the game cannot be completed until this gets patched.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I also killed the gigantus before reaching the island and I didn't get the achievement. I haven't tried to talk with Phaseus but I'm thinking my game broke too.,, Or maybe we messed up, I seem to remember Ambrosius said we had to lead it to the tower, never said we had to kill it.

I'm in the same boat, killed the statue right outside of the volcanic campsite. Made it to the excavation site and got the cutscene of Phaesus, however there was no Henrique telling me to go rest. I was unable to activate the elevator either. Unfortunately rested at the inn when i made it to the excavation site so I can't retry how I handled the Gigantus to see if that would fix things. I tried waiting several days to see if it would rejig the NPC's but nope. I find it quite stupid that it hinges on Henrique to be there so it could trigger the events that allow you to use the elevator to progress.

I made a ticket too. I really hope they can resolve this in a way that fixes the progression bug AND awards the achievement. :/

So I didn't get the achievement but I was able to continue and finish the game. Henrique just warned me that it was basically the point of no return. Try waiting a few days and see if he pops in the mine door or if you have unfinished quests maybe some of them are mandatory. I did just about every quest I had except the beggar one and one with an elf archer.

I completed every quest that I am aware of, and all that remains in my quest list is Gigantus. There are still a couple areas I could explore, but it feels pointless if I'm never going to be able to continue into NG+.

happened to me as well. i don t get the utscene of him entering the tower and nothing seems to unlock the mission. this is ridicolous

nah it said 3-5 business days but no response at all, ive just started a new game
shame about my 90 wasted hours tho.
