What is the deal with NG+?
When I search online it just says "You keep your save and you get your Items from the storage box." nothing about if it makes it harder or more loot drops or anything.
Anyone know the full changes if there even is any?

I'm deep into ng+ and basically scoured it for new stuff. There is nothing new except all the endgame armor and weapons (not rings) are on vendors. There is no increased difficulty or new monsters, or increased instance of gore variants.

tl;dr ng+ is not more challenging, and is trivial difficulty assuming you are geared from completing post game or bought endgame items from the vendors for gold (lol).

I have no reason to believe that ng++ would be any different, but I might push through tomorrow and see just for giggles, before I drop this game due to their being nothing challenging left to do.

You have your lvl and items/gold. That's it. No more loot, no more difficult enemies.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

NG+ seems very lack luster even for people which enjoy such a concept. Was it the same in the first game?

Yes. DD2 is literally just DD1 v2.
There's a 99.99% chance DD2 gets a dlc like DDA.

DD1 was like this as well, just a way to keep your XP/items/etc and start the game again, give you another chance at quests you may have missed/failed, allow you to join the cooperative effort to slay the Ur-Dragon with your endgame power (because, uh, the way it ends, you're certainly not in any position to go on such an adventure)

Nope, as a lot of people said back in the DD1 days, NG+ was were the game truly began.
The endgame content in this is a major spoiler, but I almost guarantee you're not going to get the true ending on your first attempt.

Past that, I always play with 2 pawns second time through and solo my 3rd.

in DD1 there was the dark arisen expansion to play.
Hard mode for NG+
Eventually I started trying to solo the game as each class.

Thank you all for answering my question. I never played the first one. Maybe we get here too a DLC which will add a hard mode for NG+. I can see that people will have a lot of fun with it (not me, I am not a good player, I am thankful for good pawns from other players, you guys make it a lot easier for me to enjoy the game without much dying!)
