Idk what i did, but i tried going in there stealing/hurting no one . But EVERYONE now wants me dead. I can't progress in that main city. Someone knows how to fix this?
I am ready to restart a ol new game because of this.

Edit: Just a suggestion . Your game play. This quest messed me up and now im 2 hours in trying to fix this lol.

In DD1 there's a similar point when everyone in the main town chases you and you have to escape since you've been framed as a villain

let the city guard beat you down and take you to jail. Then escape and everyone will be happy again.

I walked down there unmolested, they only attack you if you get in there face.
Can’t you get arrested anymore? They usually attack till you’re downed then arrest you

Worked fine for me. You can just run away from guards and they reset.

I Let them catch me , and escaped . They still after me . I escaped and got another quest where it sends me close to there again but dressed like a rich person. And stilll they chase me.

You either need to be stealthy and not let the guards see you open the magistrates cell door or wear the marching armor as a disguise. You can get a full set of marching armor in the barracks behind the palace or from the item shop in the city.

If you walk toward the palace, there's a guard who will approach you and say "Arisen! Captain Brant told me about you, follow me!" Follow her and go in the door there. There's a full set of marching armor in that room. Put that on that and you're golden.

Yeah, I just snuck in the Slum door, and stayed on the opposite side of pillars from the circling guards.

first time they attacked me i got arrested, the second time i just killed em all and went my why. nothing happened afterwards. so just kill em. no survivors no witnesses

Leave out of the city and rest at a camp a couple times. This will reset everything. Same thing happened to me when i was trying to talk to dude in jail.

I walked in the main door, unlocked the cell and walked out with the magistrate after doing the quest to find the place for him to go. Guards paid no attention to me.

I was still wearing the Masquerade mask, dunno if that makes any difference.
