Most popular pawn vocation to hire?
At first I thought probably the Mage, but then the Mage is probably also the most popular main pawn voaction, and I doubt people are going with double or triple (or even quadruple??) Mage groups.
So, excluding main pawns, what do you think that is the most popular pawn vocation being hired? I'd guess it's either Fighter or Sorcerer

My Main Pawn is a Warrior, so I always hire a Mage for support

Archer (pesky flying), Sorcerer (Earthquake), Mage (Elemental buffs and heals).

My Arisen is an Archer/Mystic Spearhand, and Main Pawn is a Thief (also maxed in Archer). So I always get a mage and a warrior.

All vocations are good. It definitly depends on your onw setup.
That said, I noticed, that it seems, that there are few thiefs. (perhpas because a lot of players play them themselvers.)

The warrior is much better in part 2 than in the first game, though. (the only classe, that has MORE weapon skills availble than in the first game...) (I didn't rry it myself yet, however.)

People tend to hire vocations different from their class and pawn.
The most popular main pawn vocation is Mage since people like having some sort of personal support. Thus, mage pawn are most rare to hire.

I play mage/sorcerer, my pawn is fighter/warrior, so I hire thieves and archers.

I just love classic parties so in all such games my party members have different classes.

Fighter definitely is the second most common option
Thief is always in short supply in random rifts, got to go to town to summon these
Archer is common-ish, but they suck as pawns
Warrior is also common for some reason even though they can't even hit enemies most of the time

I mainly hire Thief or Sorcerer because they can do some massive damage

It's true they are all good, but some are just more popular than others, and I'm just wondering what's the most popular.

Thief does seem to be the LEAST popular pawn vocation, though. Be it either because thief is popular for the Arisen or because it's not as desirable as other melee physical pawns.
i'd guess fighter.

personally i always have 2 melee + 2 range. mage is locked in, warrior & archer pawns didnt impress me so far and unless your mage pawn of choice has rogue leveled, a fighter comes in handy to give him some breathing rooms for incantations.

What makes Archer suck as a pawn? :dos2skull:

Its really a split between Mage, Fighter and Warrior. Cause a lot of ppl use them as their Main as well, but those are the most commonly used builds as Support and Tanks. I would wager that Warriors are most sought after though cuz they are good tanks and do a lot of damage to boot.

i dont recruit them that often so i might've had just bad experiences, but everytime im playing melee myself and recruit an archer pawn ... they struggle to deal with harpies, so much so that i am killing them faster with jumps + auto hit then they do with ranged attacks.

Everyone need a tank or support mage.
The DPS role are best fill by the Main Pawn that can be customize and the player.
