transferring saves to another account
Hello. I apologize in advance for my English, it is not my native language.

My problem is the following. I need to transfer my saves from one steam account to another. But as I understand it in the data00-1.bin is embedded with the account id. Because of this, when I replace the saves, I am prompted to start a new game. Tell me how I can do this?

I believe you cannot do so- saves are tied to steam account + its on their servers.

I've taken my saves offline. It remains to figure out how to change or unlink the id.

Ждать save editor, либо заново начинать

I think it is possible by changing the Account ID in the saves (like in any or almost any other steam game too).
There are tools that do this for other games since years now ;-) but I don't think they work for DD2 and I didn't see such a tool for DD2 yet.

You could also try different "Family" accounts. I think you can load the saves from different accounts in this case (not 100% sure though)

I think it should be able to. Normally games can if on Steam. It is single player after all. Ignore those people with the terms "cheat or cheaters", their heads are too high with their egos and principles like they can die in the real world if they cheat. Again, there is no term cheat in single-player. Many people thick-headed keep saying cheat. Which is funny really, considering a game is not real life.

It shouldn't be account locked. I think, everyone will be upset after spending hours playing and cannot restore their own save game under another account. Meaning the company will lose customers as well when comes to thinking about it. Who would trust that company again, if there is no solution to this kind of problem, such as XBOX cloud save which is less reliable compared to Steam? Which games have?

Have you try to copy and paste it inside the number folder inside Steam? To the one you want to transfer it into? The number folder is unique to your own Steam ID.
