is there any easy money making methods like in DD1 where you bought carrots let them get old and sell them at a profit?

Not that I've discovered so far. At first I thought you could steal and sell the royal clothes in the noble quarter for a truckload since that is how much they cost in the shop, but... nope! They sell for like ~1k each even though they cost ~150k each. Wtf man those are some capcom-level scummy business practices.

yes buy fruit, let them ripen then sell it to the cat merchant, that said since goblins are plentiful I just farm them, bandits are good too, since you get 400g a pop

Yeah, if any food is kept until "Ripened" or "Aged" it heals for more and thus sells for more. I just keep them, combine two to make Dried X (Fruit/Spud/Minecemeat whatever) and then mix Greenwarish to make a Roborant for really good healing items. If food rots, you can actually take two of them, combine them, and make them into lantern oil to sell (You go from two gold for selling the rotten item to 35 for the lantern oil you create.)

I haven't figured anything like that out but just to bump the thread;

I'm an absolute loot fiend and after 30hours I have about 150,000g.
I hoard a lot of stuff in-case a quest requires 20 ore or 3 helmets or something, but I sell materials if they get over an amount I feel is a lot.

Oh that's a good tip, loot the rich part of Vermund city. Lots of loot to be had going through peoples houses and in the rich part/castle part, I found two sets of Marcher's armour and two sets of the Courtly Attire, among other items.

farm saurians for tails, farm or buy fruit/meat/fish, let them ripen/age, turn them all into exquisite roborants/miracle roborants, sell for profit. if you have any rotten items turn them into lantern oil and sell it.
also killing the small birds have a chance to drop money it's not much though.

Most settlements / city has routes that loop into a circle. Just keeping farming monsters and repeating.

Some pawns have easy quests for a good amount of money, maybe that's a good way to do it but it haven't tried yet

Yes there is a method but it requires more people participate.

Pawn rewards technically more than one person can get the reward.
Thing is not a lot of people do it at least in the low levels anyway that sort of thing appears later.

I am doing none, but I was curious:

- Selling apples and grapes on the desert bumps the price quite a bit, you can ripen the fruit for even more money. Same with the desert food in the green lands. food ripen in 3 days and get rotten in two more. Storage halts decomposition for some reason.

- Put a 10k bounty in your pawn and spend some time finding pawns with 10k bounties, you guess the rest ^^

- Beware there are some items from valuables, that say "scarcely seen on X", sell there but save a few as there are a few weapon/armor upgrades late that use them.

- Rolling on zombies, skeletons and humanoids give decent gold.
