This is the shortest RPG I've ever played

19 hours. That's what it took me to beat the game. Yes, that's not a joke.

I said 19 hours.

1 9 H O U R S.

It took me longer to beat Resident Evil 4 Remake. This game, that is 95% Dragon's Dogma 1 from 2012 by the way, that's doesn't have horses, has a minimal fast travel system to artificially increase the game's duration and is 50% walking is 19 hours long.

It feels like the hole game is the first act from an actual RPG. It builds all these relationships, with Sven, Brant, the plot against the Queen, Phaseus, the owner of Rose Chateau, Ulrika and many others, and as soon as you go to Battahl, the game throws ALL THAT in the garbage. The game just ends and that is it.

Feels like nothing happened. It's a mini-RPG. It's a throw away game for a vacation weekend.

This game is shorter than Limgrave from Elden Ring. It's shorter than Act 1 from Baldur's Gate 3. It's shorter than the tutorial from Persona 5. It's shorter than Blood and Wine from The Witcher 3. It's shorter than Phantom Liberty from Cyberpunk. And I'm not exaggerating or making jokes. It's literal. It's REALLY shorter than all this.

It took me longer to discover the underground from Tears of the Kingdom than complete this game. It's actually pathetic. What a waste of money and time.

Sorry, but the answers to many of these questions are in the game. You just missed them. I haven't finished the game yet, so I can't answer everything, but here's some of it:

The queen is in the castle. The letter is from her to Lord Phaesus, who is secretly from Battahl, and gave her the Godsway. Her son, Sven, is living in the castle, too. The Godsway is the name of the pawn controlling device, it's made from the crystallized souls of dead Arisen. The fake Arisen is currently serving as Sovran, because he was able to ascend to the throne since controlling pawns proves he's the Arisen.

Since he's a puppet, the Queen gets to stay Queen.

Ulrika was the girl you saved, she's from Malve - her plot line involves being accused of siding with the dragon and she has to flee to a different town. I haven't progressed her story since then, not sure what my next step is.

You lost your memory from getting your whole ass handed to you by the Dragon.

Where did he get that staff? its the staff that was used from the beginning of the game to controll the pawns, made out of crystaline arisen-souls AS IT IS EXPLAINED IN THE GAME

REALLY.... The Dragon? Yes, he is THE DRAGON because if you would understand the story, which you clearly skipped makes a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lot of sense. hes the ONLY DRAGON IN FACT. All others are drakes, lesser dragons so to speak.

I did go back and talk to casper but the game keeps crashing now....

The funniest part about gamer/PR people trying to defend a crap game using *classism* (so many comments about poverty, it is *disgusting*) is that you can see the games in the accounts of people making the comments. For example, you seem to be replying to me (its hard to tell), but you obviously didnt check my Steam account. I've got 42 hours in this game and I haven't finished the main quest line yet and barely touched the desert region. I haven't used fast travel at all though. Yeah maybe I'm taking my time but just not my experience I guess.

The only all bosses speedrun of Elden Ring is no major glitches and doesn't skip anything... because it's an all bosses run.
Regardless, comparing a speedrun to a speedrun is fair no matter how much you whinge about it.

And BG3 released 66% finished and they never completed it.
