When the game says "a few days" it really means one, sometimes two.
This was driving me mad. The developers really seem to love trolling us players by creating two characters looking both exactly like old Bilbo Baggins and naming them nearly the same (Eini, Eino) so you think the grandma is alive when she isn't in fact because she takes walks in a monster infested forest every day and just begs to get killed.
So thank you for wasting either our time or our money/ferrystones to get back to Vernworth to revive her.
I hated this quest so much. :D
Thank you all for solving the problem. I honestly thought Trysha was bugged when she kept on studying for days and the quest just wouldn't progess.
Talk to the fortune tellers whenever this happens in the future and they will tell you who exactly needs to be revived and where they're at, to proceed.
