framerate mods
i've seen a framerate mod that was made for the 40s series gpus and its been made compatible for the 30s and 20s series but im running on a 1080 and was wondering if anyone knows if they're making the mod be able to work on the 10s series, i'd love to be able to play the game at a good framerate but it seems like the 10s series is missing out on all the love

this gpu is almost 10 years old.

Look, I loved my 1070 as much as anyone.

Legendary Card.

But it's ancient technology.

Consider upgrading, OP.

I went from a 1070 to a 3060ti and got a good deal on it and it frequently punches above it's weight and gives me excellent 1080p gaming performance.

If you want to spend a bit more the 3070 is also a good contender.

thats true but i've been able to run games like cyberpunk and a bunch of other newer games just fine with my graphics card, i'd love to upgrade but its not financially viable right now and the game doesn't have insanely good graphics so i'd expect it to run just fine on my card

its not financially viable for me to and a 1080 should be more than good enough to run the game just fine the graphics are good but they certainly aren't next gen the only issue im having is optimization for my card

The game is also in a horrific state of optimization.

I would not expect any miracles until Capcom puts in work.

but they've made the work on every series of card except mine ;~;

10s series are incapable of DLSS so the mods will not work.

When your card is 10 years old it will eventually get left in the dust.

If I was you, I would ignore this game until it gets patched up.

Try and get a refund if you can.

I've been in tough financial situations before so I know it's not as easy as: "Oh-...DOI! This guy on the internet said I should get a new Grpahics Card! WHY DIDIN'T I THINK OF THAT!?"

But you should honestly consider saving up for a new one, the 10 series is starting to be completely phased out of consideration as you can see, consider getting at least a 30 series to keep up with new game's demands.

I had a 1080ti before upgrading to 4090.
It did not "run cyberpunk just fine".
I had to run it on lowest settings in 1080p just to have playable 60ish framerate. It looked terrible and made the game unplayable.
well what you find just fine and what i find just fine are 2 different things i have vision problems so worse visuals look fine to me because i cant tell the difference

1080? You're 4 generations behind on a card launched in 2016. If you're gonna play PC, you gotta keep up. Know what I mean?

You can watch that GPU melt into a pile of ash while it tries to run this game.

well the funny thing is that the 1080 is better in every aspect than the 3060 besides the VRAM which it only has 50% more than the 1080 out performs it in every other aspect

Use the app Lossless Scaling and enable framegen. Its the best us non RTX cards can get. those mods wont work because theyre DLSS mods, and 1080 doesnt support DLSS.

That said, 1080 still runs alright here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZlmputH234

you misunderstand the power of the 1080

if you have an 9 year old card the rest of your rig is probably ancient also, which means cpu/mb bottlenecking even if you could fit a new card into it

just get a small business loan and buy something with it
