What really bugs me about the item storage

You can't equip equipment from storage and have to go through taking items out.
They really never did any Quality of Life changes from the previous title.

I need a bigger limit on materials, 99 is not enough, I fill up so fast on common stuff, but I am a loot goblin so that is partly my fault, at least I make some money selling the excess stuff, but 999 would be a far better limit.

Both of these are valid. Stacks need to be bigger. Storage needs to be considered part of your inventory that you can access anywhere. Sure, maybe limit the ability to deposit stuff remotely, but when I'm talking to an NPC and they want something I can't reference my storage? That's just inconvenient, and annoying.

Yes that and a 'deposit/withdraw all materials' option. This game has so many little minor things that add up to make me think they really didn't spend enough time on it.

Link up the shops and the item storage as well, I hate having to go to the inn just to grab stuff to sell and then come back. I don't remember if this was a thing in the first game, but maybe it was?

You could send items to storage in the previous title when buying from shop.

My question is, are all the storage‘s synced? Can I access my storage from another inn to one across the map? I found out about storage when in the nameless village and it is pretty far from everything and i dont want to make another trip out there just to get a helmet I placed in there.

It is. You can travel as far as you like. Storage is always with you.

I don't like relying on mods to fix games.

Switch role
Run over to the inn
Talk to the npc, go through multiple lines of dialogue and options to get into your storage
Collect your gear (No, you can't equip or swap from that menu)
Open menu, equip gear.
Talk to the npc again, do the same dance
Place old gear into storage

It is, objectively, a mess. Equiping from storage would have been a no brainer.
