RTX 2070 Ryzen 5 2600 enough?
I heard that Dragons Dogma requires a good PC because of the performance. Is a 2070 and a Ryzon 5 2600 enough or will it be bad?

honestly just wait for a performance patch. I've got a 4080 and it still run pretty awful.

I'm playing on rtx 2060 and ryzen 5 2600 I say it's enough. Cities have low fps that's not really terrible. I have no fps drops or stutters just low fps in crowded cities. Since all the major fights are often outside the cities you can play without a problem. Well ofcourse you gotta turn on dlss and don't go too crazy about graphics.

NO, the CPU is a bit lower than minimum specs. The GPU is fine, but as the game stands now, will be barely playable with that CPU. Wait for a performance upgrade, if it happens...

I have Ryzen 5 2600X, I barely have the minimum spec for CPU, anything lower would make the game unplayable, and still is rough. My card is RTX 3060. No problems from the GPU side. But the CPU is truly a bottleneck RN.

game is heavily CPU bound in its' current state, the 2070 shouldn't give you trouble if you use DLSS but the R5 2600 definitely will.

If you look for a fps mod it should be fine. I have a 3070 and play with 90-100fps max settings rtx on.

those stats are similar to my laptop, and while it doesn't run the game as well as my desktop, it's still adequate with some performance tweaks

I'm running this on an i5 8400 chipset with a GTX 1660 super. Takes some time to load after some cutscenes so far, but perfectly playable albeit on low settings.

Have to a ryzen 5 2600 and a Radeon RX 6600 and I am not sure if it will work. Played it a bit and was good enough for me but dont know in the citys/towns.

I've played it a little now. In the open world I have an almost constant 60 FPS. Unfortunately, I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in cities. Maybe it´s time to upgrade.

Regardless of hardware the game is not fit for purpose.

The CPU issues need to be addressed. The Frame pacing is terrible and it amplifies the stutters and drops.

5950x
3080ti
32gb ddr4 3600
850x 2TB NVME

Runs like arse on any resolution and every variation of graphics options I have tried at 3440 x 1440 all the way down to 1080p.

Unlimited shader cache
High Prioirty set in Task Manager

Even did a clean install of windows 11 and cut out the bloat and background resources.

Still runs poorly.

The performance aside, the Combat feels worse then DD1. You cant cancel out of skills and enemies just dive/charge at you. they literally track you regardless of the surface, height variation. No rolls or dodges for most vocations means you get hit constantly. Its stiff and clunky.

You cant see anything with all the magic and spells being cast.

Honestly even if they some how patch the game and its in a decent state i doubt that I would even look at trying to play.

The game shouldnt have been released and if it is soley down to the RE Engine, then why didn't they stop early into development and use an engine that actually can handle an open world.

DD1 is just a better game all round.

Go and play Horizon Forbidden West, completely shows up most PC Ports. runs so well while looking better in every way graphically. No excuse for ♥♥♥♥ PC ports in 2024 especially from a AAA studio.

No, just don't bother. Unless you like suffering, in which case you should buy it, 100%.
