Dragons Dogma Online Was Better

Graphics, Animations, and Storywise, DD2 is better, yeah by a huge margin. Especially if you can't read japanese like me lol.

However, the gameplay of DDON was honestly so much better. I really wish they brought over some of the monsters from DDON, it introduced new types, not to mention having coop so you could adventure with your friends.

Some of the things it did better:
Having 2 different sets of skills that you can swap between at the push of a button
Thief had a grappling hook and double jump
Sorcerers had some awesome spells and a huge variety
Monster fights were more like actual boss fights (some of them at least)
A much larger variety of monsters and new monsters introduced, like the ogres and metal golems
and so on.

For sure had its major problems, but I'm surprised that NONE of that was brought into this. Either they just forgot DDON existed or they're saving some of the content for a DLC later down the line.

Sadly, yeah. I'm still enjoying it, but it really disappoints me with some of the ideas they chose.
Like, if they kept everything how it is now but had coop, I think the game would be a huge improvement.

Yeah this sequel is terrible. Shouldn't have bought it. I'm gonna replay DD1 and wash the taste of this absolute garbage out of my mouth
