Sleeping cost in city
In the start of the game, it's fine, but as you progress, it cost up to 10k to make a hard save, as auto save is not reliable according to the game itself. I just think it's just stupid. I've been playing the game for 28 hrs now and all my gold have gone to upgrading gear. Or am I missing something about gold.

Edit: I bought a house in the sand city where it cost 10k for a night. And from what I remember, there where no madrases, Woke up with sand in my lounge and back pain. Definitive not a 6 star hotel, but from what Owlbear answered sleeping in a owned house counts as using the same save as sleeping in a inn. So a "hard save"

Save your money to buy houses. The one in Vernheim cost s 20k with 7 day free trial and one in Bakbattahl cost 30k. They will save you tons of money in the long run.

Which city costs 10K to sleep at the inn? That is crazy!

For gold i just farm big monsters and sell their drops. In the Battahl area golems can give you 10k+ each.

There is small quest and cheaper to buy house in city for 20,000 gold, it's good invenstment sooner as you knew where to find it (google "Dragon's Dogma 2 House") and get start, just be sure had 20,000 gold at your hand, after sleep at her house for 7 or 8 day or something like that in the row.

They are in the residential area of each city. Just walk around until some women hail you about their house.

Do houses count as an "inn" save?

It's the most luxurious hotel in the world, it must be a 7 star hotel. And there's much inflation. I cannot think it is a 7 star hotel because I saw 4 Seasons, Hilton, etc.

It's not the earth, our planet, our world, it's different, so in the world from Dragon's Dogma 2, it costs that much to sleep in an inn. We don't think so, but people in that world think so. What a price! But in that world, they think it is reasonable.

Isekai, it's not the earth.

On otherhand, Asisen and Pawn do not real die, they almost like immortal sort of till dragon thing, that is. I guess that why Asisen and Pawn able to collect endless gold from monsters that Monsters do not reallly die till dragon is gone for little while, Mortal human might try sell Asisen and Pawn high cost but cheaper to other mortal human? I guess some mortal human hate Asisen and Pawn due strange believe or think not fair they got sort of immortal, so they set high cost of goods/product to make life harder for Asisen and Pawn, I don't know, it's just other world.

Yes but not much in my experience. I usually keep 5 of each materials and sell the rest. And you can always farm them again if you need more.

Manual saves are very reliable
I've crashed like 8 times and I've lost a couple of minutes of progress max at a time
And with so many camping spots, sleeping in an inn is a complete waste of resources

The game is going to have a patch that makes the home ownership quest in Vermund to be earlier, but it shouldn't take but 2 or 3 main quests before you get to buy a house for 20k
And in the Battahl city there's an NPC selling a house for 30k, she's just standing there on the road to residential district
