There is no such thing as exploring too much as I'm sure you'll be back to those areas for quests at some point.
Also keep in mind, hitting max level in a Vocation is more like finishing the tutorial for that Vocation. So in terms of progression it's not as far as you might think.
Wish they'd throw harder enemy variants that use better tactics but sadly no, it's just too easy now. 😔
if you finish the game too quickly you kill your fun, because NG+ doesn't scale up to your godlike stats
so keep having fun for as long as possible, my dude, enjoy
The most story i've done is up to where you gotta go into the bar and pick the 3 quests up from the guy, i just said f that and went on a road trip of my own. Granted i've only found mystic spear (not using youtube or guides playing totally dark.) but a crap tun of gear and money and stuff to do upgrades with.
I know im going slow but there are legit people that rush storylines then go "Game has no content" and quit without playing the other 90% of the game because storylines only cover like 10%.
Also chests don't reset, only enemies do all the time.
Too much for what? Other players? Ask them if they are exploring too little and maybe get an answer that way.
