Yes you read that right. You can actually double the performance of DD2 on PC using mods. I'll link you to two such methods, both using their own implementation of FSR3 Frame Gen. Just make sure to have a base framerate of at least 40FPS for a decent experience.

2️⃣ 𝗔𝗠𝗗 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆 - 𝗙𝗹𝘂𝗶𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀

If you have an AMD card, you can open Adrenalin and turn on AFMF for any DX11 or DX12 game which also generates frames using frame interpolation. In fact on AMD cards, you can stack both AFMF and FSR3 FG.

Once done, enable NVIDIA Reflex+Boost or AMD AntiLag+ to reduce the input delays caused by Frame Generation.

No offense but most people are going to assume you are posting this in hopes people with donate to your patreon. No one knows who you are, therefore that could be your page. Also, I have installed mods on games for almost ten years and never once paid for a mod. Bethesda caught tons of heat for trying to make mods paid. "mods don't appear out of the ether" actually they do, by people who create mods without any strings attached.

Tried FSR, it makes the UI flickers and even though it does improving fps in general it just looks weird.
I have a sensative eye so i can see through the cheating frames due to input lag.

All of this only helps with GPU load though. This doesn't do anything for the CPU bottleneck.

You don't need to activate FSR to use AMD Fluid Motion Frames.

For Amd users, you can try the FSR3-AFMF combo without any mods :

- FSR3 from the game engine + AFMF from AMD Adrenalin software

I have a Ryzen 5 5800x3D + RX 7800 XT playing in QHD ultra (only Shadows setting on High) + FSR3 quality (max Image Quality slider) + RayTracing and I have 150-200 fps average with 25 ms lag from AFMF. Haven't reach capital yet though.
Pretty smooth and no crash in 6 hours gameplay so far.

FSR3 and AFMF does not really care about CPU or GPU bottleneck and is done after the actual/real frames have been generated.

AFMF is not Frame Generation, but yes that works as well.

AMD literally says AFMF is frame generation for 6000 and 7000 series cards. When running metrics it shows "Frame gen lag" ____ stat right next to it. Why do they say its frame gen if its not frame gen?

You being so skeptical of everything with out even looking at stuff shows self projection.

In the at least fg page on nexus mods, it even gives you the link the pure darks patron, and stats pure dark (which it stats this on his page) that he just wants to spread this around as its a locked feature in the games files, so he doesnt wanna charge for it.

Even so, it's ridiculous. Paying for a mod to increase performance when everybody here has already paid full ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ price for a game.

AMD doesn't recommend using AFMF unless you're already getting decent frames. I have used it before and it can be jarring and looks worse than low frames if you try to use it in a game where you're already getting low fps.

yeah it says it works best in gpu limited scenarios which this game is not
