Ancestral chamber shortcut to Melve?

There's a small path from the north of Melve that connects the landmass to the Arbor area via ladder, which is inaccessible unless you jank it using levitate or by messing with the geometry and climbing up. I went the long way around and tried to find the main entry via Ancestral chamber (where you fight an ogre as part of an Elf quest), only to find that both entrances are blocked by a gate with a piece of wood barring it lol

any idea if this opens up as part of a quest or am I out of luck for using this shortcut?

There are 3 Skeletons behind the Door next to where the Ogre was. It's a bit tricky, but pushing yourself against the Door sometimes baits the smaller ones into an attack. If they hit the Wood properly (the big skeleton blocks it sometimes) it can break. Took ~5 minutes to do but was the easiest way for me

You can get in from the other side too. Use mage/sorc.warfarer to levitate to a spot on the righ when facing the dropped down ladder. You should be able to grab a hold of the ground there and then it's one smaller jump up and you're on. But unfortunetly same "door puzzle" from this side and it doesn't seem to spawn any skeletons here.

Also on the other side I only get the fell lord (big skeleton) nad can't make him swing that sword of his...
