No. I prefer using combat pawns rather than utility, so I tend to stay away from pawns that have any inclination towards material handling. But it may have just been a bug, because shortly after I posted this conversation, I went to go get another quince and when I tried to portal back to Bakbattahl, my game crashed for the first time after 28 hours of total play time, and it sent the crash report : /
Ripened quince is found when you return to Harve and are on the Convergence main quest and the ruins rise. When you reenter the cave near water and get to the actual Seafloor shrine. You enter a large room you drop down into. Break barrels and stuff and Ripened Quince will be found.
Quince are found in Battahl, near the river west of Bakbattahl. That aside, No, none of the pawns I have should be doing that because I don't really care about material combining. I only take pawns with heavy focus on combat, plus, even if I did have one that focused on combining things, they should only be able to use the items in their OWN inventory, not mine. As in "only the things they pick up and stay the ♥♥♥♥ out of my pack"
