No. You get to replay the game at the level you ended the game at and with the gear you ended the game at.

Its a chance to get things you missed the first time around (Maester Skills, Sidequests).

you get to experience an even more boring version of the game. its not new game plus, its just new game again.

That's a shame, was hoping there was a way to make the game harder.
new game plus makes all the enemies stronger

does it? that would be nice, i already kind of dread going through the first big zone 'cuz everything gets 1 tapped and theyre more speedbumps than fun encounters... even a griffon gets taken down by a single sorc meteor cast

You can't change or re-edit your character in NG+ like in the original??? I wanted to change my Arisen's race....

You can, it gave me the option

There is actually an harder "mode" : The world change for 12 fays, with new objectives and harder ennemies. If you die, you have to go NG+. Its tied with the end and how you use Godsbane in the final fight

as of this moment, unless you modify game files in explorer, you are stuck with that arisen for your entire ownership of the game. you're best hope is capcom selling a raceswap dlc.

Going into NG+ lets you customize your character I did it

I've also noticed now that I've played it that there's 4 changes:

1: The NPCs kept the endgame loot from the post game in their shops the same way npcs did in NG+ for DDDA

2: You can spend wyrmstones to improve the stat scaling of your chosen vocation by enhancing it at the Dragonforged

3: You can spend wyrmstones to enhance a skill which also reduces its stamina consumption, I don't know for how much.

4: You can spend wyrmstones to boost your discipline gain for a day, your exp gain for a day, your stamina regen for a day, or your favorability increases for a day. This feels pointless since the game isn't hard enough to warrant actually grinding your character to the level cap and there's no Bitterblack / Pit in Gran Soren
