Hey fellow gamers, just wanted to pop in and share that I'm having an absolute blast with Dragon's Dogma 2, despite what all the haters are saying! Yeah, I get it, not everyone's vibing with it, but for me, this game is just one big blast of fun. The world is immersive, the combat is a blast, and there's just this sense of adventure that keeps me hooked. Every quest feels like a wild blast, and I'm having a blast exploring every nook and cranny of Gransys. So who cares if it's not everyone's cup of tea? It left it's blast on me, and that's what counts, right?

Honestly it's the first game with better graphic slightlly better fight, (like some mechanic though and a LOT of armor and weapon compared to the first one, also a "new world" after the defeat of greg would be good like in the first game with half of the city collapsing in a giant magic hole and new stronger enemy to fight

Hey guys just want to join in on praising the game, especially when there's so much toxic negativity surrounding it.

Im 50 hours in and only first arrived at Battahl, yet I've encountered so much stuff!

Every minute of playing it was absolute fun, combat is very detailed and fun (I feel sooo badass when I jump on a knocked down monster and jam my weapon in its head), every side quest is an interesting story that's fun to explore, and completly random and unexpected encounters with unique NPC's like Sphinx that you won't encounter unless you explore gave me a sense of a real adventure that I haven't experienced in a long time!

So you cherry picked a few statements that didn't say enough just to be vaguely hateful yourself? Its almost hilarious how you lack a mirror. I gave a full summary of a cool scene, wasn't the only one to actually speak of experiences, and then you're even less specific than me in what you hate. WTF. Actually read the room, or in a literal sense read a post that has more than one sentence. We're allowed to actually have positive threads, and fans who actually play a game more than they chat... ya'know, like what gamers do.

Out walking towards the area I've heard a Dullihan is (for a quest). Come by a ruined town full if goblins and Hobgoblins, clear them out, it's a camp site too. Getting the team together after the fight, an ox cart comes by, go to take a look and chat up the NPC's.
I'm next to the cart (which has stopped). WHOOSH, BOOOM! CRASH! Cart obliterated! Cart has been divebomed by a Gryphon! Guards scatter, some go flying, total anarchy!

HOLY ♥♥♥♥ what the hell!! All rally and start attacking, oxcart guards, some random pawns walking near by, and my pawns. Me in awe and confused as ♥♥♥♥! OK better get my head in the moment!

Dodging around the Gryphons stomps and whooshing wings, get my self on a top of a rock near by, bit of an overlook. Take it all in.
Command Pawns on me! Let's do this! I'm a mage and got some spells, start casting the magic bolt. It's not very effective, fire boon my pawns weapons when I can even focus on it and let em at it, guards all over the Gryphon, attacking the legs some on the back of it, and now my Pawns joined in, free-pawns all-in.

I get in closer when I can and use the Flagration spell (flame thrower spell), seems to work ok. Keep dodging around and casting the spell, this Gryph is all over the place! Holy ♥♥♥♥! Can barely keep on target!
Back on the rock, gotta try something else. High Levin (lightning). Start casting, fight is going crazy, guards, pawns, free-pawns, some Hobgoblin runs away in the background!
Cast goes off, camera pulls back (so cinematic!), blast blast blast lighting hits the Gryphon, YAAA! Look at health bar on Gryph, not even at half health.

Look at bar, 4 pips to go...oh ♥♥♥♥.

Battle rages on! Guards, Pawns, free-pawns, Guard goes flying, dead. Levin blasting, fire flaming, 1st health pip done! This has been like 5 or more minutes, I don't really even know!
OK time to settle in this gonna be a long one, Gryphon screams, takes off, flies away!
Battle music goes in to cooldown, weapons sheathed.
Take in the aftermath, cart is rubble, a guard is dead on the ground, ox is just standing there. Heal my pawns. Change my pants.

Holy ♥♥♥♥ did that just happen!!!???

Ya I'd say this is a pretty good game (when it works).

I'm addicted to the action in this game. after ranking up a few vocations. Very fun action adventure game. Story-wise not my favorite RPG but Idk. The strengths of the game are the random stuff that happens in between.

Some silly mods I'd wanna try in NG+ but I am excited for DLC. I wish idk, DD dark arisen gets a remaster in the meantime between DD2 and DD3 if there's a 3rd. I'm glad there's a passive for the collectathon element, it might actually motivate me to collect.

mystic spearhand so far was my favorite. Launching enemies away is goofy

Yeah, Mystic Spearhand is pretty good, very close to the original Mystic Knight.
Tried the Magic Archer too but did not like it.

I wish I could get some daggers to deal with close encounters. At least, I wish that I could swing and hit with my bow. As it is, you are totally powerless vs golems.
