*SPOILERS* Glyndwr disappeared after not following him

Glyndwr appeared outside my house after his questline and asked me to follow him across the map. Unfortunately I was doing another quest and now he has disappeared and I can't find him in Verne. Does anyone know how to prompt this interaction again?

Same happened to me last night. Got sidetracked on my way to his quest marker and Glyndwr disappeared as well as the quest marker. Followed my traces to see if Glyndwr got stuck somewhere, but nonetheless, he's gone.

Wow, same stuff. I accepted his quest and went to north-west, it was night. I fought cyclops at a half of a trip and then after a few minutes saw there's no Glyndwr on mini-map, tried to find him but useless. Global map didn't show pin for Glyndwr too.

Is that the point of the quest AFTER you "teach" him archery ?
He invites you to follow him to the trial ... is that the quest ?
If so, just travel to the same spot where you showed him how to use the bow.
He will wait there and then escort you to his village.

Had to reset from the house save after he disappeared during the escort

Worked the second time by not sprinting. I went through the road above Harve then up at harve level.

Didn't have that problem with Beren in Battahl

Nope, I've done all the archery quests and got the portstone reward.

He showed up at my house at night and asked me to follow him, there isn't a quest in the journal, just was a marker for him as a companion. I persued a quest and he left, now seems to be gone from my game

1) This isn't a quest
2) Most quests DO have markers, actually :D
3) Hire a higher level pawn and they will almost always just show you where to go

He re-appears at your home after what I think was two-four weeks game time.

Today I finally finished this trip. I fought chimera. Chimera drowned and Glindwr also... It was 2 meters deep and I couldn't grab him. Probably it could be this. Also, I saw how drake can grab humans and they bugged through the ground after the grab.
I started playing with Git (made a guide about it), advise you to do the same. When there could be just a little chance of a game's bug punishing you, it's fully worth it.

Glyndwr bugged 2 times today. First time he stupidly drowned and second time he just disappeared as in your case.

Vanished on me too. I got to an area with a dragon (which I carefully avoided), ogre, minotaur, huge bird thing (griffin? He made a retreat after I refused to become his lunch) and a big hairy ape guy, plus all sort of other beasties. I think might have stumbled into a monster convention or something. Amazingly, I only died once, due to my lovely heal bot pawn and her huge collection of potions, but weird posh elf guy was gone.

Question - when the elf guy disappeared for you did you get a notification that the escort quest failed? I received that after a scuffle with the dragon and ogre, thought the guy died but checked the morgue and he wasn't there. I also re-traced my steps and couldn't find his body.
