[SHACKS] Barred Doors (magic wood)

Finished clearing the mine from goblins, am headed north. I clear a camp of pawns. There are 2 shacks. One door is open, easy access. The other wooden shack is almost falling down, and the door is barred from the inside. There are gaping holes in this shack and a chest sitting a foot from one such broken wall.

The shack appears to be impenetrable. The door was bolted from the inside, apparently by pixies who then flew thru the holes. Meanwhile the physics engine believes that weathered worn wood is way stronger than a 1 cubic meter boulder of solid granite which about 2700kg or 6k pounds (i.e. 3 tons) ... no not kidding look it up.

All attempts to exact some destructibility have failed. My character can pick of a 3-ton boulder and throw it at the shack, and it bounces off like a plastic ball. At some Nth throw attempt (5th or 6th), the boulder shattered. And none of my attempts to attack with weapons do anything.

This shack is lol'ing at my sad attempts break in.

I've been up on the roof, no holes or trap doors. I've tried jumping squeezing thru all the holes in the walls, no good. I've scanned all the surfaces for hidden action points ... nothing.

What am I missing?

Is there any way you can hit the wood barring the door with something through one of the holes? Arrow, magic, rock, etc? I think any damage to the bar directly should break it.

Dude, like, I've found a wooden door that is basically falling apart and barely hanging. I threw a barrel of explosives and nothing. I turned around and walked away crying while this smug-as.s door was just laughing it's as.s off and all my pawns made fun of me also.

Aim through an opening, break the wooden latch, I'm an archer main so its easy for me, I don't know if it can be done by other vocations

You can only destroy door/gate bars from the side they're on. Even if it would make sense that you can directly stab the bar with your sword through the metal grate gateway. Or stack four explosive barrels there and blow them up.

It's a game mechanic.

(for shacks like that, see if you can shoot the bar through a window from the opposite side. Or get on the roof and drop through a hole in it.)
