1. Each class has a "fixed stat growth" that adjusts when you change, so there is no difference in what you need to level first.
2. Each class has their strengths and weaknesses. Some are more offense oriented (like thief) and some are more support oriented (like mage)
3. Each class has max level of 9 ranks
4. Each class has their own "augment skills" which are passive skills that you can equip on any class. (e.g warrior has a carry weight skill that can help all your classes get extra carry weight)
So the best answer is max everything then stick to whatever you like the most.
follow these steps:
Speak to the Inn attendant.
Choose Vocation Guild.
Select Change Vocation.
Press the back triggers to scroll through your and your Pawns' info screen.
Your current Vocations unlocked will appear under the Vocations tab.
You must spend DCP to acquire new Vocations.
Probably the best class to win fights but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it boring. More than half the time you're afk staring at the enemy
I've been having fun with Mystic Spearhand
