It feels like they did exactly 0 QA; no testers. There's no way any tester worth their paycheck or even named credit signed off on classes being locked behind random NPCs that you have to hope: Spawn in town and you run up and talk to at the right time with no character motivation besides "I have to talk to every npc in every town or I will miss things." It breaks immersion so hard I'd rather have yellow paint lol
