The cooking animation

Why don't more devs if they want hyper realistic graphics just use real food like this game does? Hell the cooking meat is honestly super nice to see when you get to it.

I am also wondering this myself.. I mean capcom made the monster hunter world.. The Cooking in that game is marvelous, then in DD2, we got a stupid video... really f*cking lazy capcom....

Just realized, maybe because the cooking in monster hunter world is complex and more of a necessity, so you would be doing that everytime before you hunt, here in DD2, it grants buff, but it is not as prominent and mandatory like in MHW.

Does it really matters this much? It doesnt affect the gameplay in any way and it looks quite pretty, I dont think that it matters really

IDK why but every time I cook at a camp I never skip the FMV and I don't want to. Reminds me of back when I was a kid and went camping and we grilled ♥♥♥♥ over a camp fire.
